Around July, August in year 2008, under the initiative of Mr. Ng Khoon Soon and a group of seva, together with the guidance of our teacher, Hwa Seng, the Art of Living Alor Setar established our ‘home’.
Looking back, the Art of Living Alor Setar has been nomadic before we found a home. Our group practice was irregular, sometimes during our Basic course, we even had to undergo 3 venue changes throughout the course. We have had our practices in Dewan Perhimpunan Cina (Hwa Tang), community hall, tuition centres and even in commercial offices. We grew up amidst the chaos.
This home is built by our diligent sevas out of love. The wishes of our sevas are that all the Art of Living members from our Alor Setar community could come ‘home’ for our weekly group practice consistently. It is hoped that we could nurture this blessed beginning with great love to make this forever after, to maintain this home together and spread the love and peace throughout our community.
We are utterly grateful for the contributions in the form of donations, support and love from our members.

2008年七八月间，在黄坤顺先生与一班志同道合的义工及华生老师的积极带动下，大家群策群力，积沙成塔，亚罗士打生活艺术中心终于有了自己的“家”。
回首这一路走来，未找到“家”之前，我们可说是过着寄人篱下，流离失所的日子。那时候，团练不定期，办一次初级课程有时须更换三次会馆。我们寄居过华堂，施氏会馆，补习中心，甚至商业办公室。间中的酸甜苦辣，陪伴着我们长大。
这个“家”是由义工们任劳仁怨，用爱心慢慢经营筑成的。我们只希望所有团员每个星期天记得回来团聚。祈望大家珍惜这份“缘起”，用爱心让“缘起”变成了“永恒”。愿大家知福，惜福，再造福。
感恩在幕前幕后直接或间接为这个“家”付出爱心的每一个人。
谨在此祝愿大家身心灵平安，健康，幸福。
